Luis
Lara
Luis Lara Armendariz is the founder and CEO of American Industries.
Graduated from the Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey
(ITESM) in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon.
Mr. Lara has been active in promoting the development of business interests
in Mexico for over 30 years. Since the early 1970's, Mr. Lara has been
involved in the real estate industry in the State of Chihuahua. As founder
and General Director of the group of companies Parques Industriales de
Chihuahua, he initiated the creation of the first industrial Park in the
State of Chihuahua. In addition to these responsibilities Mr. Lara also
served from 1980-1985 as Director of Economic Development for the State
Government. In 1984, Mr. Lara founded the group of companies Industrias
de America that includes American Industries, established to pursue Shelter
operations and Real Estate services in the whole country.
Mr. Lara is also active in a number of professional, cultural and charitable
organizations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Telmex,
he was President of the Maquila Association from 1992 to 1996, he is a
Counselor for a number of organizations including BBVA-Bancomer, the Chihuahua
Enterprise Center, and the Chihuahua State Economic Development Agency.
Liliana Hernández
Mrs. Hernández is VP of Finance and Administrative for American
Industries Group. Her past accounting experience has included senior positions
with Deloitte as audit manager and prior to the actual position she was
Financial Manager of the actual CEO of American Industries Group. Liliana
is a Certified Public Accountant from Chihuahua State University and has
Master Degree from Tecnologico de Chihuahua.
Alberto Villarreal
Mr. Villarreal is VP of Sales and Marketing for American Industries. Prior
to this position, he served as Plant Manager, General Manager and General
Director of Ponderosa Industrial. Mr. Villarreal has participated as a
counselor for several industry organizations in Mexico, including the
National Chamber of Manufacturing Industries. He has a Mechanical Engineering
degree from Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey and a Master's degree from
the University of Houston.
Mayra Terminel
Mrs. Terminel is VP of Real Estate for American Industries. Prior to this
position, she served as a CFO of the American Industries Group. Her past
experience has included senior finance positions in groups related with
the Maquiladoras & Industrial Parks. She has actively participated
in the Chihuahua Chapter of the Maquiladora Association, the National
Maquiladora Association and she was president of the Fiscal Committee
of the National Industrial Park Association. She is a Certified Public
Accountant from the Chihuahua State University.
Conrado Rolón
Mr. Rolon is VP of Shelter Operations for American Industries. He has
over twenty-five years of experience in the Maquila industry, and prior
to his current position he worked in a wire harness manufacturing operation
for Packard Electric and Electronics, manufacturing for Ampex AVSD Division
(Audio, Video System Division).
Mr. Rolon is the former President of the Maquila Industry Association
of Chihuahua. He has an engineering degree from the University of Guadalajara.
